There’s something my sister, my friend, and I like to do in our spare time. We like to put on make-up and get prettified, pose, and take pictures of ourselves. We spend about an hour or so doing this, and we wrap it up in a file on my computer and call it a photo shoot.I don’t know why putting on make-up, doing our hair, and taking pictures is so entertaining or fun. Sometimes we plan to do this, sometimes we just grab a low battery camera and snap a few shots for fun. I guess one reason I like to do this little “photo shoot” thing is because it’s a chance to look pretty. To get a pretty picture. Because a lot of the time, a pretty picture seems so out of reach for me.You see, in my mind, a pretty girl has flawless or nearly flawless skin, bright eyes, silky hair, a great smile, an hourglass shape, a skinny body, perfect clothes, always put together and stunning.It seems to me that a beautiful girl is someone with a beautiful inside, not outside. God finds valuable beauty in a girl with a gentle and quiet spirit. Beautiful, huh?So, if the Lord sees that kind of beauty in us, why do we keep searching for more and more beauty on the outside? I know that I search for that kind of beauty all the time when my friend and I do our “photo shoots.” I look through all the pictures of me and think of ways that I can make myself prettier. Well, maybe it’s time that I start worrying about making myself a prettier girl on the inside.Beauty starts on the inside, and radiates to the outside. Through the way a girl’s eyes shine. Through the way she lives. Through the way she cares, loves, hopes. All of those qualities are so beautiful to me. I wonder if they’re beautiful to God also.There’s the question again: If outside beauty doesn’t matter, why do we still search for it? Why do we torture ourselves by pointing out all our flaws? Why do I look at a “photo shoot” as a time to look better and see myself as prettier instead of looking at a “photo shoot” as a time to hang out with people I love and have a good time? Why is being beautiful so important to us girls?You probably have your own answer to that last question. Maybe being pretty is so important because it’s the only way that we can fit in, get accepted, get attention, get love, and be liked by others. :)

Japan earthquake..

If you’ve seen a tv or newspaper lately, you’re probably aware of what’s happening in Japan right now. But just in case you missed it, here’s a recap:

- On Friday, Japan suffered a severe earthquake which triggered a tsunami (think of it like glass in a water… if you shake the glass, you get waves. Well, the earth shook and it caused the ocean to move in waves over 30 feet high).

- Several nuclear plants have suffered major damage which workers are scrambling to repair.

- Hundreds of thousands of people have lost their homes/possessions and are living in temporary shelters.

You may be asking, What can I, a teen sitting at home, do about this?

With any disaster, there are a thousand charities offering opportunities for you to donate money – and some are fake. So if you want to give, make sure you choose wisely.

But whether you donate or not, pray. Ask God to help the people of Japan who are suffering from this catastrophe, and to provide the resources needed to help them recover.

My mom’s face twisted as she watched the television screen. Unable to control my curiosity, I moved into the living room to see what she was watching.It was a Lady Gaga concert. And I knew exactly why my mom was so disappointed.Lady Gaga was, as usual, dancing seductively on stage in a skimpy outfit, stopping to rub her body up against some male dancer.Then the camera panned the crowd and stopped at a young girl, maybe twelve, danncing to the music and viewing Gaga with eyes of wonder and amazement.

My stomach flopped.Whether it’s Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber or the next big “role model,” I can’t help but wonder if these stars consider how they affect young people. I can’t think that pole dancing in front of millions of little girls is influencing them in the right way, and encouraging barely teenage girls and boys to enjoy and instigate young romance seems a little inappropriate. Unfortunately, as much as I would like to, I have no opportunity to sit these “role models” down and tell them how dumb they are acting.But I can tell you.Though you may feel far from the spotlight, I can nearly guarantee—unless you live under a rock—that you are influencing someone. Maybe a younger brother or sister, or some kid you babysit, or a peer who is looking to you for answers. I can easily think of several people I influence, and you probably can too.Let me tell it to you straight: Don’t abuse your power. It’s obvious to see that someone who admires you and looks up to you will listen to what you say and do what you say and even do what you don’t say, but what your actions say.Too many celebrities have been caught up in the power of it all and have forgotten that little feetwalk right behind them. Don’t be like that. Encourage those who look up to you to live lives that please God.

Pressure..! -.-

In form5, the pressure to do well started to really freak me out.

Everyone was constantly comparing test scores and papers.

I began to feel totally insecure about my ability. I felt like

everyone was smarter than me, and if I didn't do better than

okay, I'd never get into college...ouh,so stressed! :(

i hate this very much..!

I tried to study, but I was so scared of failing and so full of

caffeine that I couldn't really concentrate. When I went to

school during the day I was too exhausted from trying to cram
algebraic formulas, important dates, and crucial names into
my head to pay attention in class.

1. People who point at their wrist asking for the time... I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?

2. People who are willing to get off their a** to search the entire room for the TV remote because they refuse to walk to the TV and change the channel manually.

3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too". Damn Right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?

4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they?

5. When people say while watching a film, "did ya see that?" No Loser, I paid $12 to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor!

6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?"... Didn't give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?

7. When something is 'new and improved'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.

8. When people say "life is short". What the hell??? Life is the longest damn thing anyone ever does!!! What can you do thats longer?

tempat2 lepak n makan di KL

Tempat-tempat Lepak & Makan Best di KL

Ini pun satu masalah juga. Masalah kepada kaki-kaki lepak dan kaki lapar. Persoalannya, mana
nak lepak? Kat mana nak makan? Aku ni suka mencari tempat-tempat lepak yang best di
kawasan segitiga emas dan kawasan-kawasan sekitarnya (Selangor Darul Ehsan). Tempat makan
lagi laa aku cari. Hanya tempat makan yang best dan sedap menjadi PILIHAN HATIKU…!
Di bawah ni senarai-senarai yang mampu aku senaraikan untuk dikongsi bersama dengan
rakyat Malaysia yang suka menghadirkan diri di kawasan segitiga emas ni.

TERIMA KASIH KERANA BERJAYA MENJADIKAN KL NI BENAR-BENAR SESAK…!

KAMPUNG BARU

Tak perlu lagi la aku nak perkenalkan tempat ni. Mesti korang semua dah tahu. Di sini memang

syurga makanan. Kedai makan memang berderet-deret bermula dari pintu gerbang sampai

la ke tepi Masjid Kampung Baru. So,kedai memang dah banyak. Tapi, yang mana best? Dan yang

mana sedap makanannya? HR Steak House merupakan satu pilihan yang bijak sekiranya nafsu

kita menginginkan makanan ala-ala barat. Lokasinya adalah satu line dengan Masjid Kg Baru.

Kedai dia yang gelap2 ala romantic gitu. Harganya murah dan berpatutan.Tak salah rasanya kalau

aku katakan di sinilah korang boleh dapat chicken chop paling murah kat KL. Air gelas besar

dengan harga RM2 segelas. MURAH dan SEDAP!!! Dinasihati korang pergi lambat2 sikit.

Kalau dalam pukul 8-10p.m. orang ramai sangat. So, tempat duduk pun kurang ler. Tempat kedua
adalah kedai atas bukit. Aku pun tak tahu macam mana aku boleh bagi nama macam ni.
Mungkin sebab dia memang kat atas bukit kot. Lokasi – masuk pintu gerbang,die sebelah kiri selepas
kedai jual selipar. Apa yang sedap? Aku pun tak tahu. Tapi memang ramai giler lepak sini
malam-malam. Sebab ada shisha kot.

SUP MELETUP, BANDAR TASIK SELATAN

Perrrrghhh!!!! Kaw..kaw..punya!!! Sup dia memang betul-betul meletup di mulut. Cis! Tiba-tiba
aku terliur pula nak pekena sup meletup ni. Lokasi – BTS a.k.a Bandar Tasik Selatan. Betul2
depan 7 Eleven BTS. Jalan menghala ke Kem Sungai Besi,sebelah kanan. Aku syorkan korang
datang sini sebab sup dia memang ada POWEEEERRRR!!! Buktinya,dulu aku ada pegi ngan family
aku makan kat sini. Lepas makan je,semua thumb up sama itu sup. Seminggu lepas tu,semua
nak pergi lagi. Percaya tak? Pergi dulu baru korang percaya. Faktanya, sehari diorang masak
4 periuk besar sup dan direneh selama berjam-jam. Aku jamin korang pasti berpeluh hirup sup
meletup ni!!!. Nasi goreng dia pun best kot! Apa tunggu lagi?? Meletuplah ke sana beramai-ramai!!!

CHAR KOTEAW, TAMAN BUNGA RAYA, WANGSA MAJU

Dulu dan sekarang, aku memang suka datang sini makan char koteaw. Nama kedai ni
– MALI CORNER. Nak beli,kena beratur woooo... Hebat tak hebat kedai ni. Tukang masak
char koteaw ada 4 orang. Konsep yang digunapakai adalah open-air. Korang boleh makan
bawah bumbung mahupun bawah langit. Mana satu yang korang suka la. Lokasi – Taman
Bunga Raya, W.Maju. Berdekatan dengan Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman. Kedainya memang
betul-betul ada konsep. Korang masuk taman tu, tiba-tiba terjumpa kedai makan yang ramai
orang. Konsep ape ntah dia pakai. Mali Corner ada cawangan. Satu di Setapak, berhampiran
dengan Uptown. Satu lagi di Taman Medan.

TAHARA SEAFOD,KAMPUNG PANDAN

Orang cakap makanan dia sedap. Aku dah try. Siap melantak lagi tu. Memang sedap la.
Restoran ni agak feymes sebab ramai artis datang makan sini,,,,.. Pasal harga jangan bimbang.
Tak mahal pun. Berpatutan jeerrr...

NASI AYAM TAMAN WELAWATI, ULU KELANG

Nak makan nasi ayam sedap. Ni lah tempatnya! Tak rugi datang sini. Lokasi -
Dari MRR2 keluar ke susur Taman Melawati. Sebelah kiri sebelum sekolah rendah dan menengah.

JALAN P.RAMLEE

Port kelab-kelab malam. Selalunya dieorg suka lepak depan kelab. Parking kete tepi
jalan,terus bertenggek di bahu jalan..sambil-sambil tengok awek2 mabuk. Tengok
kereta lalu-lalang. Jalan memang jem la lepas pukul 2a.m. Tengok kiri,tengok kanan.
pergghh!!! ramai lagi yang dok lepak... Kesimpulannya,ni pun port lepak gak
.(walaupon aku ta pena lepak kt sini,juz tengok2 org lepak jee)

DATARAN MERDEKA

Haram la kalau korang tak tahu tempat ni. Sini port baik punyaaaa. Mat kereta sama mat
rempit suka lepak tempat ni. Mat-mat melepak pun suka gak lepak sini. Ada apa kat sini?
Ada padang,ada bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad,ada motor,ada kereta,ada roadblock@rush,..

BUKIT AMPANG @ BUKIT LANGAT

Namanya dah ada dua gelaran. Ikut suka korang la nak panggil yang mana satu.
Jom la lepak sini. Boleh tengok seluruh KL..!

*even semua tempat ni aku baru pegi 2,3 kali je..aku rase ok lhaa

kalau korg nak try..mesti semua pelik kn nape aku tak letak 1 pon

tempat shopping yang biase korg lepak2 2..bukan taknak letak..tpi

banyak sangat..tak terkira aku..n sebenarnyee aku nak korang terkeluar

dari kebiasaan korang yg slalu lepak tempat mhal2 n ade ade class lha

bg korang.. :)
